Apologies for Being Away for a While

Or, Dealing With the Loss of a Pet

Over the last few weeks I lost my beloved dog Ajax. It's been a rough period and I'm hoping to get back to writing soon. In the meantime, here are some happier memories of him. He was an anxious, spirited and loving Jack Russell. A rescue, found on the side of an interstate highway right after Christmas in 2012. About 6 months later he came into my life. This first picture is my first one of him. He loved sleeping, destroying squeaky toys to retrieve the little plastic squeakies which I will find several of when I move later this summer as he would hide them all over, along with toys and other things. He was a pain in the ass at times, too, but earned it as he lived to be a crotchety old dog. I will love and miss him.

He was my favorite subject, and I guess still is, for playing with ChatGPT images. Enjoy meeting Ajax!
